Data, or information, is everywhere and the way that we handle that data is guided by law.
How to protect personal data – disposing of data
- put printed data in the confidential waste bin or shredder (do not put data in general waste or recycling bins)
- delete electronic data in accordance with our Data Retention Policy
What to do in the event of a data breach
If you think that personal data has been lost or shared incorrectly, you must contact your local IT Service Desk immediately.
