How to protect personal data – transferring data
- if you’re emailing or posting personal data, make sure you send it to the correct recipient
- don’t send personal data to your personal email account
- password protect electronic documents containing personal data
What to do in the event of a data breach
If you think that personal data has been lost or shared incorrectly, you must contact your local IT Service Desk immediately.
