Outstanding! Menzies employees recognised by Southwest Airlines

We have just completed the annual review of our into-plane fuelling and tank farm management business with Southwest Airlines. The feedback on Menzies’ service was excellent, with two colleagues receiving awards for their work.
Outstanding Service Provider award
Maurice Nelson, General Manager at Atlanta, was given Southwest’s Outstanding Service Provider Award. With the team, Maurice has turned the station around with a renewed focus safety, security and operational performance resulting in only 17 delays during the whole of 2020! None of those delays exceeded 15 minutes, and most were under five minutes.
Outstanding Leadership award
And in Orlando, Graham Martinez, General Manager at Orlando International Manage & Operate, was recognised by Southwest for outstanding leadership of the tank farm. They noted improvements in fuel inventory management and levels of engagement within the team.
John Redmond, EVP Americas , thanked Maurice and Graham for the work they’ve done to earn the awards saying; “Both awards are well-deserved and the transformations of our Atlanta and Orlando stations are remarkable, and both locations are now consistently delivering safe, secure and consistent quality service to all of our customers.”
