Menzies colleagues in Copenhagen welcomed new customer Emirates this month after winning a five year contract which includes ground handling, passenger services and de-icing.

The start up was achieved in remarkable time – it took the team just three days to get everything ready for the first flight on 1 January.

Station Manager, Michael Gammelgaard, said; “This was a great effort by the team, everyone approached the challenge with a lot of enthusiasm and positive spirit and the first flight left the stand ahead of schedule”.

Initially the service, from Copenhagen to Dubai, will run five times a week with the expectation of a daily service when schedules return to normal.
