This is because our approach is much more than a set of policies and procedures, and now we’re supporting leaders in creating a safety culture centred around coaching, communicating, motivating and team building.

The new Managing Risk training programme, which launches this month, has been developed by training and risk teams. Elena Flynn, Head of Operational Training says; “This collaborative project has seen a new interactive approach to digital learning. It not only develops our leaders’ skills in managing risk, it also allows them to manage their own learning experiences and demonstrate some of the skills they have gained.”

The courses have been developed to support the regions in delivering facilitated and online learning, participants will learn about the importance of taking care of those in their teams and how to create a safe workplace built on trust and respect.
