We have won a contract to provide ground services in Bloemfontein (BFN) for South Africa’s largest low-cost carrier, FlySafair.

The airline launched flights between Cape Town and BFN at the end of July with Menzies providing passenger and ramp handling as well as cleaning services.

Ian van Rooyen, Vice President Commercial and Business Development South Africa & Namibia, Menzies Aviation, said: “This is our first contract with FlySafair and signals the start of a relationship with the biggest low-cost carrier in the southern Africa region. Well done to the Bloemfontein and support team on a smooth start-up.”
