Very very important work at Jakarta
27 April 2021
The Menzies team in Indonesia pulled out all the stops last week to handle two VVIP (very very important person) flights bringing delegates to a summit of South East Asian leaders which took place in Jakarta on Saturday.
With less than 24 hours’ notice, the team prepared for the safe and successful service – the first time they have handled VVIP flights. They even managed to source and install a red carpet on the boarding steps in honour of the arriving passengers.
Country Vice President Indonesia Alex Willis said; “The team performed exceptionally under challenging circumstances. Not only did they respond quickly to a short-notice request, but they maintained their high standards of professionalism in the heat and while observing Ramadhan fasting. Thank you to everyone who supported this first-of-its-kind operation for Menzies at Jakarta.”
