Philadelphia fuels the medical supply chain

The Menzies tanker operation at Philadelphia International Airport helped prepare a Hi Fly Malta plane for its return flight after it delivered medical supply items from China to the USA.

The chartered flight, which is the first of at least four flights between Guangzhou and Philadelphia, required 35,000 gallons of fuel. This took four tankers, and the hard work and dedication of three Menzies employees.

Justin Halbsgut, General Manager, said; “I’m proud that my team was able to play a part in helping the supply chain of critical items during this time of crisis. We look forward to working on these charter flights and offering our excellent service.”
