How to protect personal data – storing data

• don’t store data on personal devices such as your phone or a memory stick
• take extra care if you’re taking a company device (for example a phone or laptop computer) outside the office
• delete data that isn’t needed any more, in line with our Data Retention Policy

What to do in the event of a data breach
If you think that personal data has been lost or shared incorrectly, you must contact your local IT Service Desk immediately.
