This summer’s flights schedules were badly affected the coronavirus pandemic and stations in popular holiday destinations were hit by the delayed start of the summer season. So the Menzies team in Nice was delighted to welcome the return of seasonal operator Ukraine International Airlines (UKI) this month.

Usually UKI operates around 80 flights between April and October and the summer schedule is confirmed in advance. This year, as with so many airlines, contracts are having to be drawn up on the basis of flexible schedules – this took a lot of negotiation, led by our Russian speaking Commercial Manager, Evgeny Shadov:

“We’ve agreed a contract that allows for changes in demand, and we’re delighted to welcome Ukraine International Airlines back to Nice. The twice-weekly service to Kiev will operate through August and September and we’re all hoping that there will be sufficient demand to extend the schedule into the winter months as well.”
