Menzies welcomed new operator Animawings to Timisoara in Romania, as the first charter flight to Antalya took off.

The flight, which took 172 happy passengers to the popular Turkish holiday resort, departed on Friday 21 August with the support of the Menzies team. That support went above and beyond simply providing ramp and passenger services…the station manager, handling manager and team also created a colourful banner to welcome the first Animawings charter flight.

In addition, Timisoara Airport organised a water arch and red carpet to celebrate the inaugural flight, prompting the pilot to say that he’d never seen such a welcome in 40 years of flying!
