The record-breaking flight, which was sponsored by the Austrian Government, returned to Austria with 280 nationals who’d been stranded due to the coronavirus outbreak. Mr Hartleb said; “We were very impressed by…the very kind and caring attitude of Menzies´ staff towards our passengers, many of them minors, people with special needs or elderly.”

Craig Midson, General Manager Ground Handling, is extremely proud of the support Menzies is giving to customers during these unusual times, saying; “The whole team, above and below wing, continue to deliver a quality service for our commercial, cargo and freight customers.”

Special mention goes to Chitrang Mehta, Operations Manager & Charter Subject Matter Expert, who led the operation to turn around the Austrian Airlines flight.
