Overview

Join our largest Hazard Hunt during MORSE Month! Everyone across the network can get involved by looking for hazards in your respective working environment (you can even try it if you’re working from home) and reporting them.

Objectives

  • Improve awareness for all employees of hazards – what do I see and what does it mean to me?
  • Improve reporting across the network by spotting hazards and reducing the potential of near misses and incidents/accidents.

What do I need to do?

You can play singly or in a group. Where groups of employees are working together under the leadership of a supervisor or similar, that person can take the lead on helping to encourage, collect and report hazards from employees.

Simply record the hazards you see and enter them into the MORSE system via the desktop platform or (if you have it registered – the Swift Reporting App **). All entries during MORSE Month will be monitored and the business unit with the most entries will receive recognition.

Hazards can include reporting on third party activity, actions, inactions, or behaviours.

** If you like to be set up to use the Swift Reporting App please contact:

Malcolm Rae or Graham Cowing in the Central Team.
